Rooney returns for England, Ukraine sweat on Shevchenko
England
Wayne Rooney will return from a two-match suspension, and make his first appearance at Euro 2012, against Ukraine on Tuesday night. Boss Roy Hodgson has already confirmed that the Manchester United man will be thrust straight into the starting line-up, he just needs to decide who to leave out. Danny Welbeck and Andy Carroll both displayed reasons for inclusion in the win over Sweden, but Welbeck is likely to get the nod. Elsewhere, Theo Walcott has been passed fit, after a slight hamstring injury, and is pushing for a start after his match-changing performance from the bench on Friday.
Ukraine
While England's talisman is set to return, there are doubts over the fitness of the Ukraine's. Andriy Shevchenko has been struggling with a knee injury in the days since the France game. He returned to training on Monday, but is only rated 50-50 to start the match. Artem Milevskiy could be handed his first start of the tournament if Shevchenko fails to make it.
