Krohn-Dehli strike stuns Dutch

Denmark shock Netherlands while Germany see off Portugal

Micheal Krohn-Dehli and Mario Gomez top scored on day two, with three Fantasy League points each, as Denmark and Germany both secured 1-0 wins in Group B.

Krohn-Dehli struck midway through the first half, against the run of play, after a cross deflected into his path.

No assist was given as the cross was travelling across the face of goal before it hit the defender and rebounded to Krohn-Dehli on the edge of the box.

The Danish striker skipped past two Dutch challenges and fired past Maarten Stekelenburg to score the only goal of the game.

Later in the day Germany needed until the 72nd minute to break down a resilient Portugal side.

Sami Khedira picked out Gomez, with a slightly deflected cross, and the big striker guided it back across goal and into corner.

The direction of the cross did not change significantly, only the height, and so Khedira gets the two Fantasy League points for the assist.
