Ukraine add pace to defence, France recall M'Vila
Ukraine
Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko was involved in a minor car accident outside the stadium after scoring two goals against Sweden on Friday night. He was unhurt in the incident though, and is expected to start. Coach Oleg Blokhin has kept his cards close to his chest in the media this week, but he is thought to be considering including Yaroslav Rakitskiy in the heart of the defence, to deal with the pace of the French attack. Blokhin may also decide to bolster the middle of the park, with Andriy Voronin potentially making way for another midfielder.
France
France could hand a return Yann M'Vila after he missed the draw with England because of a sprained ankle. Alou Diarra played in M'Villa's midfield role on Monday afternoon, and may drop to the bench for this one. Alternatively, Laurent Blanc could go for a more defensive stance and bring M'Vila in for Florent Malouda.
Clean Sheet potential:
France have kept four clean sheets in six games against Ukraine.
Transfer Target:
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema should have more joy in this one.
Last meeting:
Ukraine 1-4 France (2011)
