Cisse and Adebayor net brace each in wins for Newcastle and Tottenham

Strikers Papiss Cisse and Emmanuel Adebayor top scored on Wednesday night with two goals apiece, for six Fantasy League points, as Newcastle and Tottenham saw off Chelsea and Bolton.

Cisse scored two unbelievable goals in a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge, while Adebayor scored two tap-ins late in the game as Spurs won 4-1 at Bolton.

Newcastle defender Davide Santon scored five fantasy football points for and assist and a clean sheet, a score matched by Rafael van der Vaart, while Gareth Bale scored four points on the night, for two assists.

Chelsea 0 Newcastle 2

Papiss Cisse brilliantly opened the scoring midway through the first half when he flicked the ball up to himself, from Davide Santon's pass, before volleying over Petr Cech from the edge of the box.

If his first was good then his second was out this world, a sublime dipping volley from outside the area, after Shola Ameobi had chested it into his path.

Bolton 1 Tottenham 4

Luka Modric brilliantly opened the scoring when he chested down Rafael van der Vaart's corner, before hitting a curling volley into the top corner of the net from outside the box.

Bolton got themselves back in it after the break, Nigel Reo-Coker slotting home after a lay-off from David Ngog.

Spurs restored the lead on the hour-mark when Rafael van der Vaart side-footed home from Gareth Bale's low cross.

Emmanuel Adebayor secured the win two minutes later when tapped in Aaron Lennon's cross.

Adebayor completed the scoring with 20 minutes left when he latched onto Bale's pass before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting into an empty net.
