Euro 2012 really gets going as the Group of Death kicks-off

Netherlands

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has said he's been left out of the starting 11 for his country's first group game against Denmark. The Schalke striker was prolific last season, but appears to have lost out to Robin van Perise, who's also quite good. Barcelona back-up Ibrahim Afellay is in contention to start on left with 18-year-old Jetro Williems expected to start at left-back. Joris Mathijsen is a doubt because of a hamstring injury.

Denmark

The recent loss of regular goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen means Stephan Andersen will start in goal, despite the presence of Manchester United's Anders Lindegaard and Kasper Schmeichel, son of the all-time Danish great. Captain Christian Poulsen will have to settle for a place on the bench.
