Wigan survive thanks to win at Ewood Park

Blackburn became the second team to be condemned to relegation when they were beaten 1-0 by Wigan on Monday night.

Rovers will join Wolves, and either Bolton or Queens Park Rangers, in the Championship next season because the win gave Wigan enough points to secure their Premier League status.

Defender Antolin Alcaraz scored the only goal of the game, earning six Fantasy League points on the night.

The goal came three minutes from time when Antolin Alcaraz rose highest to head in a Jean Beausejour corner.
