Drogba out for Chelsea

The hero of Wednesday night's win over Barcelona, Didier Drogba, has been ruled out of Chelsea's trip to Arsenal this weekend because of a knee injury.

The Ivorian is now a major doubt for the return leg in Spain on Tuesday, with his place going to Fernando Torres in one of what is likely to be a few changes made by Roberto Di Matteo at the Emirates.

Arsenal will be without midfielder Mikel Arteta for the remainder of the season, after the Spaniard suffered an ankle ligament injury against Wigan on Monday night, while Yossi Benayoun is ineligible.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson will not feature again this season after the club announced that his hamstring injury is more serious than first thought.

Everton's chances of winning at Old Trafford have been dealt a blow with a hamstring injury to Leighton Baines, which could rule him out for the season too.

Newcastle have had fitness concerns over Tim Krul and Cheik Tiote this week, but both have been passed fit to play against Stoke after back and hamstring niggles.

Liverpool will have Jose Reina back in goal, following a three-match ban, when they host West Brom on Sunday.

Manchester City could recall Yaya Toure at Wolves, but Mario Balotelli is still suspended.
