Attacking Player of the Week

Can you catch the elusive running South Korean wing wonder?

Chung-Yong Lee has come along way since falling asleep in the dugout when he first reported for Bolton duty at the start of the season.

The South Korean had only flown into the country the day before and was so jet lagged that he dozed off while watching his new side face Sunderland from the bench.

He even fell over the ball when he entered the fray because his body clock struggled to come to terms with being on a Premier League football pitch halfway round the world.

Seven months on however and the 21-year-old is keeping Premier League defenders up at night as they prepare themselves for an encounter with one of Asia's greatest talents.

Hugging the touchline in his bright yellow boots, Lee has been in devastating form for Bolton this season and is already a key part of new manager Owen Coyle's plans.

Coyle believes his right winger, who joined from FC Seoul for £2m on the day before the 2009/10 campaign got underway and was Gary Megson's last signing for the club, is coming on leaps and bounds and could be a real star of the future.

His international captain, Manchester United's Ji-Sung Park, is also a big fan and believes his countryman will benefit from jumping straight to the Premier League, rather than signing for a club in Holland or Scotland.

Lee, the K-League's top assister in 2007, has already scored four goals for his new club and added five assists on his way to a very respectable 22 Fantasy League points.

Bolton face an epic fight against relegation and will need their fleet footed winger, who will be an important part of South Korea's World Cup plans, to continue creating chances for target man Kevin Davies, starting against Wigan on Saturday.
