What's New for 2010/11

New Season, New Features!

Fantasy League Classic returns to action this summer with the start of another Premier League season on Saturday 14th August!

In addition to all your favourite features from previous seasons, the coming campaign has several new additions and tweaks that will make your fantasy league season even more exciting .

4-3-3 Formations

We have added the option to line your team up in an attacking 4-3-3 formation in search of the goals that could see your team travel to the top of the standings.

Competitive Player Pricing

The pricing of players on the playerplayer list values have been slightly dropped in order to increase the attractiveness of the additional striker option and overall competitiveness of the list as a whole.

Expanded Premier League and Prize Tier competitions

The Premier league structure, where each team is entered into a league of 20 teams to compete against throughout the season, has been changed this year.

Premier Leagues will run on a cumulative points leaderboard, as opposed to the head-to-head format that was in operation last season

This format allows the Premier Leagues to start on the first day of the season and continue scoring points across every game of the season

After the 19th week of the season, poisitions in the Premier League will determine which Prize Tier competition each team is entered into

There are five Prize Tier competitions that run from the start of 2011 until the final day of the season

Every team will join one such competiton, either the Champions League, Europa League, Championship, Lower League or Sunday League to compete for honours in a series of group stage games, before a series of knockout fixtures that will whittle the participants down to a select group who will compete in the Sprint Finals on the final day of the season.

The new format of Premier Leagues and Prize Tiers will allow more managers to compete in these competitions for a longer period of the season, while still allowing the cream of Fantasy League managers to rise to the top of the standings.
