Goalkeeper - Gianluigi Buffon (Italy)

Gianluigi Buffon has let in two goals in two games but has played well and is odds on to keep a clean sheet tonight against the Irish, which would be a welcome return for his £8.5m Fantasy League Classic price tag.

Ireland have only scored one goal in their opening two matches and seem to lack the firepower to cause genuine problems for an organised Azzurri defence.

Defender - Jordi Alba (Spain)

Jordi Alba impressed against Ireland, proving his attacking credentials.

The Valencia defender already has three fantasy football points thanks to Spain’s clean sheet in that game and will look to get down the left flank and add some offensive points to his tally this evening.

At £10m, he's more affordable than some of his team-mates and stands a good chance of picking up an assist.

Midfielder - Andrea Pirlo (Italy)

Italy have to beat Ireland tonight to stand any chance of going through.

Andrea Pirlo will be orchestrating things going forward against an Irish defence that’s already let in seven goals.

With a goal and an assist in Italy’s first two games and costing £11m, Pirlo looks good value to build on his five fantasy football points.

Midfielder - Luka Modric (Croatia)

Luka Modric is a bargain at £9m.

He didn’t feature heavily against Italy and will be trying to outwit the likes of Xabi Alonso this evening, but he's vital to his side's chances so expect him to raise his game.

If Croatia are going to proceed to the next round, they’ll need their midfield maestro to assert himself and score his first fantasy football points of the competition.

Forward – Antonio Cassano (Italy)

Antonio Cassano has played well at the championships so far and is a good bet to turn that form into some fantasy football points against the Irish tonight.

The Italians will have to score goals against a vulnerable defence, so expect a return on his £10.5m valuation.
