New game, new team for Greece as they play unaltered Czechs
Greece
The Greek squad won't be able to field their original centre-back pairing because Sokratis Papastathopoulos serves his one game suspension and Avraam Papadopoulos is out of the rest of the tournament with a knee injury. Fernando Santos could face another tactical dilemma if he is forced to choose a replacement for Giorgos Fotakis who was injured in training in the week. The only easy decision for the Greeks would be to field the substitute turn hero of their previous game; Dimitris Salpingidis. The winger not only scored a goal, but won a penalty for his team.
Czech Republic
There have been few announcements from the Czech side as they go into their second fixture. Michael Kadlec is due to move to centre-back after experimenting with him at left-back, where David Limbersky is expected to start. This move will hopefully inspire confidence in the team's defensive ability after they shipped four in their opening match against Russia.
Clean Sheet potential:
The only goal in three meetings between the sides was a Greek extra time winner in 2004.
Transfer Target:
The fast Greek winger Dimitris Salpingidis.
Last meeting:
Greece 1- 0 Czech Republic (2004)
