You can hold your auction online or at venue. Click the online or traditional auction tabs at the top of this page for more information about the two auction types. Once you have decided, select the required option in the dropdown and click Create to continue league set up..

You are now in your lobby! See this as your chairman’s office – it’s where you can add managers to your league before the auction.

Add managers to your league

Once all the managers have created their Fantasy League accounts and joined your league, you need to click the Activate Trial button underneath the list of teams in your lobby. Once you have activated your trial, an option to Enter Auction will appear below the list of teams in your lobby. Click that button to proceed to the important step of setting up your league rules in advance of the auction!

Decide on League Rules – What can you customise?

You can adjust things like squad sizes, club quotas, budgets, transfer quotas and set up transfer windows during the season using the Sealed Bids engine.

You can set rules however you want, however for your first time playing, we would suggest the following:

  • - League Size: 5 to 16 teams per league division
  • - Squad Size: 15 players per squad
  • - Club Quotas: Two players allowed from each Premier League club
  • - Formations: All available formations (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 5-4-1, 5-3-2) allowed
  • - Transfers allowance: Allow unlimited transfers during the season or set season and monthly quotas of any amount
  • - Transfer windows: Set any number of "Sealed Bid" transfer windows throughout the season, or allow transfers to be made by each manager on an any-time basis

Online Auction Step-by-Step

Follow these these step-by-step instructions to set up your Online Auction and get bidding on those players who will lead your team to glory in Fantasy League Professional!

1) Decide on start date

The beauty of an online auction is a that all of your managers do not all have to be online at the same time, meaning its ideal for leagues who have managers spread across the country or the world.

2) Input league rules

Click on the Enter Auction button to input all the pre-decided league rules.

3) Set up first bidding round

A deadline must now be set for the opening round of bids.

4) All managers to bid on players!

Each manager selects a full squad of players and spends up to their full budget to place bids they are willing to pay for each of their selections.

5) Process Bids

When the deadline passes, you (as the Chairman) process the bids for the round by clicking the Process Bids button. All the successful bids go into the teams automatically. Managers get the money back for players that they have lost out on.

6) Set up second bidding round

You then repeat the process until all teams are full by repeating steps 4 and 5. Usually, three rounds of bidding will be needed to complete all teams.

7) Complete auction and start scoring!

Once all of the teams have been entered, you need to click the Complete Auction button to convert your league into its active status ready to begin scoring!
