Spain on the verge of claiming a third major title in a row

Spain

Reigning European and World champions Spain go into Sunday's final with questions surrounding their best 11. The Spaniards still don't know who should lead their attack and Alvaro Negredo struggled in the semi-final win over Portugal. Cesc Fabregas could get the nod up front, just as he did when the two sides met in the Group Stage. However, Pedro and Jesus Navas will be pushing for starting roles after recent bright displays.

Italy

Attacking duo Mario Balotelli and Antonio Cassano have both been declared fit to face Spain. There were doubts over the fitness of Italy's forward pairing after they were withdrawn during the Germany victory. Two-goal hero Balotelli has recovered from the cramp that preventing him trying to net a hat-trick and Cassano's knee injury is not as bad as first feared. Right-back Ignazio Abate returns from a hamstring injury and should force Leonardo Bonucci onto the bench.
