Fantasy League Limited originated the fantasy football concept in 1991 and ever since has continued to innovate with fantasy games on a wide range of sports as well as music, film and finance.

The company is based in London and with 30 staff solely focused on the production of online fantasy games, is Europe's market leading provider in this growing field.

Games are distributed directly to the public via www.fantasyleague.com and produced as bespoke white-labelled solutions for clients around the globe. The range of benefits include the ability to build targeted databases, boost loyalty and communication, drive traffic, generate advertising/sponsorship revenue, enhance content and deliver education and training.

Current partners include The Sun, Skysports, ITV, William Hill, Absolute Radio, Liverpool, Chelsea, Standard Chartered, JP Morgan, Barclays, Mcdonalds, Deloitte and PMU France. May 2011 - Fantasy Football 2011-2012

With the end of the 2010-2011 season rapidly approaching, Fantasy League are already looking ahead to next season. As soon as this season is finished we will be turning our attention to developing new games for 2011-2012. If you would like to discuss running a game for your company/brand then get in touch now. April 2011 - Fantasy League to launch in Australia

We are embarking on a launch of our games for the Australian market in the coming months, starting with games on the English Premier League, A-League, UEFA Champions League and Rugby World Cup. Following these launches the next games targeted will be the Big Bash League, Super 15, NRL and AFL in early 2012. Any media owners or sponsors interested should contact richard@fantasyleague.com.

February 2011 - Fantasy Cricket

Following the success of our Cricket World Cup game with ESPN Cricinfo, we are in discussions about future games, and would love to hear from any other brands and media owners looking to capitalise on the global interest in this incredibly popular game. November 2010 – Barclays Fantasy Investment Portfolio launched

We have launched our latest fantasy finance game, Fantasy Investment Portfolio with Barclays. It’s an open game, so sign-up for your chance of winning the £25,000 first prize. There's a host of other prizes to be won too.

September 2010 – We are recruiting - Developers

Fantasy League are currently recruiting for three separate development roles; a Senior .NET Developer and two Front End Developers. Job descriptions will be posted in the Jobs section shortly.

September 2010 – Play Aviva Premiership Fantasy Rugby

We have launched our first ever Aviva Premiership fantasy rugby game, for ESPN Scrum. Click here to visit the site and play the game. We will also be launching Fantasy Six Nations games in January. Check back then for more details on how to play.

August 2010 – Barclays Premier League kicks off

The Barclays Premier League is now underway and Fantasy League have been working hard in launching new games for this season. To particpate in one of the games we run go to the Sky Sports, The Sun, Elephant, Match, ITV, William Hill or Absolute Radio sites and pick your team.

August 2010 – Sporting Index are the new champions

Sporting Index are the new Fantasy League 5-a-side Champions. The new format saw Opta Sports top the league by winning every game but Sporting Index in the knockout stages by defeating champions Football League in the final. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of the next tournament which will take place in April 2011.

April 2010 – Football League are the champions

Football League won the third Fantasy League Five A-Side Championships by beating F and C 3-0 in the final. Underneath clear, spring skies 13 teams converged on the Liverpool St. Powerleague centre in the heart of London and Football League battled their way to victory. Defending champions Channel Four returned, but left empty handed after failing to get out of their group and PKR fell in the first knockout round after impressing early on. Fantasy League reached the semi-finals, having escaped the group stages for the first time, where they were toppled by runners-up F and C. March 2010 - F and C Fantasy Portfolio Launches

The F and C Asset Management Fantasy Portfolio game opened for registration on March 8th. The game is targeted at F and C’s direct client base but is open to everyone. The first prize is a whopping £10,000. Go to http://fandc.fantasyleague.com for more details.

January 2010 - 2010 Sports Calendar

Fantasy League has created a sports calendar for 2010. This year sees a packed 12 months of sport ahead. Highlights include the Winter Olympics in February, the World Cup in June, the Ryder Cup in October and The Ashes in November. For your own copy of the calendar click here.

October 2009 - Sponsor a Fantasy World Cup game!

With the World Cup draw now complete and the expectations of 32 nations rising by the day, the countdown to South Africa 2010 has officially begun! July 2009 - New Logo

Fantasy League has unveiled its new logo in time for the new Barclays Premier League season. It will be used across all games run by Fantasy League. This includes our own branded games and all games licensed to third parties. Andrew Wainstein, Managing Director, comments "The objective was to move the logo from a print-focused design to one that was cleaner and more legible online. We’re delighted with the new design which is a more up-to-date reflection of our business as an innovative creator of online games and communities. But at the same time we recognise our credentials as the original fantasy football game, and to that end have retained some of the core elements and colours of our previous logo."

May 2009 - Channel 4 win Fantasy League Five-a-Side Championship

Defending champions Channel 4 retained their Fantasy League Five-a-Side Championship crown at a wet and windy Wembley Goals Soccer Centre. Channel 4, who won the inaugural tournament in August 2008, beat Black Sun 2-0 in the final after a hard fought afternoon of football where nine teams battled it out with the weather, and among themselves in the league phase, for a place in the semi-finals. Hamerville Hotshots topped the league table after going eight games unbeaten, but went down 1-0 in the semi-final to losing finalists Black Sun. Melbourne IT took the last semi-final place only to come up against eventual winners Channel 4. Fantasy League's own team crashed out in the league stage once again, but are confident of success in the next Fantasy League Five-a-Side Championship.

March 2009 - Fantasy League 5-a-Side Tournament

Following the success of last year's inaugural Fantasy League Five Aside Championships we are delighted to announce that we'll be doing it all again, in April of this year. The Fantasy League Five Aside Championships 2009 will take place at the Wembley Goals Soccer Centre from 4pm on Friday 17th April, and costs £150 per team to enter. Channel 4 emerged victorious in 2008 and this year's tournament promises to be even bigger with teams from around the South East battling it out for the title of Fantasy League Five Aside Champions.

January 2009 - New signing

This month sees the arrival of Jason Waite, joining the Fantasy League team to head up and develop our finance games. Jason previously worked at JP Morgan, where he was in charge of special projects, including the JP Morgan Fantasy Fund Manager game that Fantasy League provides, so he is very familiar with our products... read more...
