Online Product Manager (Sport)
Salary: £28k-£32k
Fantasy League, the inventors of fantasy football, is recruiting an Online Product Manager to play a key role in managing a range of its fantasy sports products.
The role includes responsibility for scoping, delivering and managing online fantasy games. This includes liaison with the development team on the definition, build and testing of new products through to the ongoing management of all aspects of games including data feeds, score updates, content and customer support.
We are looking for a graduate with 3+ years commercial experience in a suitable role, preferably in a new media environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing an online product and have project management or content management skills in a fast turn-around environment. A passion and knowledge of sport, especially football, is essential, as is attention to detail and strong communication skills. Other experience that will be advantageous is managing a small team, responsibility for customer support, copywriting for the web and knowledge of SQL/databases and Excel.
This role requires a confident, bright person who uses their own initiative as well as playing a vital role to a busy and forward thinking team. You will need a good eye for design and experience in testing and identifying development problems. You will need to be willing to do some weekend work and in general be committed to providing and maintaining high quality products. An awareness of trends and innovations in new media would also be an asset.

- New product specification
- Production planning and management
- Liaison with development and marketing teams
- Site testing
- Management of third-party feed provision
- Ensuring accuracy of regular score updates
- Responsibility for editorial; website and email bulletin content
- Management of customer support

Fantasy League, the inventors of fantasy football, are seeking an web front-end developer to produce online fantasy football games in preparation for the start of the Premier League season.
We are looking for organised and efficient people with the ability to hand code XHTML who are happy working on multiple simultaneous client projects. You must have an excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop. Experience of professional web production in an agency or web development company would be advantageous as is an understanding of XML.
You will be responsible for producing customer's Websites using HTML, CSS & XML, creating layouts & site content and designing online promotional material including GIF & Flash banner adverts. You will also be required to prepare photographic images for use within these sites.

This is a 4/5-month full-time contract based in Camden, London from May/June-August.
